Blaine Luis

Setting the stage alight with his incendiary guitar riffs and soulful vocals, Blaine Luis brings a deep passion for the blues and music of the 60’s and 70’s to the forefront of his performances. His performances intricately weave together inspiration from artists such as Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Wonder as well as blues straight from Texas to Chicago, from the Delta to the West Coast.

A singer, songwriter and guitarist, Luis original music introspectively wades into the waters of depression, heartbreak, triumph and self discovery. He is currently in the process of recording his debut album. Together with the incredible prowess of drummer Todd Watts Jr. and Ricky Ford on bass, they command the stage with a symphony of sounds that flows between ferocious and delicate.

Luis has opened for phenominal touring acts such as Laith Al-Saadi, Sharrie Williams, Sponge, and Thunderstruck, America’s AC/DC Tribute. In 2024 and ‘25 he performed at the Marshall Ice, Wine, Beer, and Blues Festival and has become a local favorite in the city of Chelsea, performing yearly in their Sounds & Sights on Thursday Nights festival.
